TINA WULFF: CONNECTED? - ABSINTH

12 May - 17 June 2023

Tina Wulff (b.1990) is a visual artist who lives and works in Copenhagen. Wulff has a master's degree in Fine Art from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen (2020). She has exhibited at group exhibitions in Denmark, Malmö, and Flensburg and is represented in the public collection of region Skåne. The exhibition ‘Connected?’ at ABSINTH is Wulff's first solo exhibition.

Wulff works in several different media, materials, and methods. Such as ceramics, drawing, crocheting, printing, and watercolour.  Her choice of materials and methods is a process that alternates between the rigorously controlled and the expressively uncontrolled through motivic reproductions and transfers between materials. However, these opposing methods create a coherent sensorial whole that requires the viewer, through openness and curiosity, to meet the works to enter into a dialogue with them so the viewer can then examine and decode their inherent messages. The sensuous communicative approach is a thread that runs through her entire practice.
