Kaspar Bonnén (1968) lives and works in Copenhagen.
Bonnén is a multidisciplinary visuel artist and author who’s practice includes painting, sculpture, installation, land-art and literature.
In the artists recent exhibition “Archive of What’s Lost” a fragmentary and personal universe unfolds, where his own story is the focal point for reflections on what we lose.
Bonnén's feelings, memories, thoughts and repressions become a field of study in the exhibition, where texts, space studies, sculptures and stories about loss become the unifying framework. Especially a conflict with the artist's father after the publication of the book, "Behind my father" is dealt with in several works.
